Max Myanmar Group Contributes Over 2 Billion Kyats in Sponsorship to Support the Development of Myanmar’s Football Sector

Yangon, September 17 – To promote the long-term development of Myanmar’s football sector and elevate the nation's sports industry, a signing ceremony for sponsorship agreements between the Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) and Max Myanmar Group's subsidiaries—Max Myanmar Construction and Novotel Yangon Max Hotel—was successfully held today at 1:00 PM in the Pathein Room of Novotel Yangon Max Hotel, Yangon.

As a major contribution from Max Myanmar Group, Max Myanmar Construction has committed to fully fund and undertake the reconstruction of the Mandalay Football Academy, which was severely damaged by an earthquake, rebuilding it to a standard even better than before. The construction project carries an estimated value of 2 billion Kyats (20,000 lakhs Kyats). The agreement was signed by Daw Thet Hnin Soe, Managing Director of Max Myanmar Construction Co., Ltd., and U Khin Maung Tun, Administrative Director.

Additionally, to support the activities of Myanmar's national football teams and national football development initiatives, Novotel Yangon Max Hotel will provide sponsorship equivalent to USD 90,000. This agreement was signed and confirmed by U Bo Chan Tun, Managing Director of Max Myanmar Hotel Group, and Mr. Karan Bahadur representing Novotel Yangon Max Hotel.
