Max Highway Co., Ltd. organized a tree planting campaign during this year’s rainy season along roads managed by the (BOT) system in Yangon, Bago, Pyay, and Magway. As part of this environmental initiative, a total of 3,000 shade trees—including Pterocarpus macrocarpus, Mahogany, Acacia mangium, and Royal Poinciana were planted at designated locations.
This annual effort aims to combat the greenhouse effect, enhance greenery, mitigate the impact of deforestation, prevent natural disasters, and protect road infrastructure from water-related erosion. To date, Max Highway Co., Ltd. has planted a total of 83,000 trees across its project areas.
