Yangon Region Chief Minister U Phyo Min Thein visited the newly constructed 50-bed ICU / HDU extension building of 1000 bedded Ayeyarwady Center this morning. Since October 9, the Ayeyarwady Center has been providing emergency care services with 75-bed ICU / HDU Center and will now be able to accommodate up to 125 ICU/HDU patients. At the ICU / HDU Center, medical team led by Professor Dr Mya Soe, nurses and more than 250 volunteers are closely monitoring patients. The Ayeyarwady Foundation donated Surgical Masks to the Chief Minister of the Region for use in needy areas of Yangon Region.
