Max Myanmar Holding and it's subsidiaries celebrate seasonal Htamane festival on 7th February 2020 at head office. All the staffs including managements participated yearly event by making 25 large bowls this year.
The Htamane (Glutinous Rice) festival is a traditional event in Myanmar that occurs around the Full Moon Day of Tabodwe, the eleventh month of the Buddhist lunar calendar, which is the season when farmers begins their harvest, traditionally setting aside part of their crop as religious offering. Htamane is a mixture of Glutinous Rice, fried coconut shavings, roasted peanuts, toasted sesame, ground nut oil and ginger. Myanmar people believe that this festival helps promote unity and mutual support.
