Ayeyarwady Foundation has proudly honoured health workers in all they have done during COVID-19 crisis in Myanmar as noble effort to counter the spread of the recent COVID-19 spread across the Globe. The foundation had worked for many activities against COVID-19 since the time when the first positive cases were found in the country, driving its contributions to all sectors which involved with this crisis management and social welfare.
Obviously, the foundation always respectfully encouraged all the health workers against this pandemic as much as it could since they are the heroes of the world to fight the crisis.
Ayeyarwady Foundation honoured 10 million MMK to the health officials, staffs and laboratory technicians from Yangon Regional Health Department and awarded 10 million MMK to the health workers from National Health Laboratory. With respect, the foundation also contributed five million MMK to the caregivers from Waibargi hospital, where they constantly run with all the process of the COVID-19 outbreak response at the front line over 70 positive cases.
Along with the process of honour, the foundation donated 10 million MMK to caregivers from South Okkalapa hospital, 10 million to caregivers from Traditional Medicine hospital of Kalay township in Chin state and contributed five million MMK to family of a victim respectively.
