Ayeyarwady Foundation is actively working with the Ministry of Health and Sports’ initiative in “Facility Quarantine” to help and assist people who are currently returning to Myanmar from foreign countries by airlines in the movement initiated by the Union Government in an effort to counter the spread of the recent COVID-19 spread across the Globe.
Ayeyarwady Foundation's Chairman U Zaw Zaw, in consultation and discussion with the Union Minister for Health and Sports, Dr. Myint Htwe, have completely offered and prepared to convert and use AYA Bank's Training Center and National Football Academy (Yangon) as the places of Facility Quarantine.
The Foundation has also donated 100 millions MMK in cash to Waibargi North Okkala Hospital and Yankin Children's Hospitals to utilize in Emergency for the medical supplies and equipment in preventing and controlling COVID-19 in Myanmar.
