For the time of being, the COVID-19 crisis in Myanmar is also a huge challenge for all communities and the government while the world is in trouble. Ayeyarwady Foundation had served its contributions to all area as much as it could since the crisis was alert in the country.
The foundation has currently decided to aid further contributions to South Okkalapa Hospital and Waibargi Hospital after meeting with the officials from both hospitals on 17th April 2020.
Ayeyarwady Foundation aided 30 Million MMK of cash contribution to South Okkalapa Hospital for daily expense of hospital and arranged to supply daily meals for the hospital from Novotel Yangon Max, after the meeting between Dr. Win Maw Oo, Head of Hospital, other officials from the hospital and the foundation members led by Dr. Zaw Wai Soe, Executive Member of the foundation.
20 million MKK was also aided to Waibargi Hospital as further contribution after its first cash donation of 50 million MMK to Waibargi hopital last month when the process of preventing and preparing for COVID-19 was importantly implemented in Myanmar.
