Ayeyarwady Foundation builds a Temporary Treatment Center to house (416) COVID-19 Patients at Thuwunna Youth Training Center

Under the guidance of the Ministry of Health and Sports (MOHS), Ayeyarwady Center by Ayeyarwady Foundation will be extended to (770) bedded treatment center with Center (A), (B), (C) and this extension project will be led by Professor Dr Zaw Wai Soe, Vice Chairman of Yangon Region Covid-19 Prevention, Control and Treatment Coordination Committee, Professor Dr Myint Myint Nyein, Committee’s Secretary and U Zaw Zaw, Chairman of Ayeyarwady Foundation.
Ayeyarwady Center (A) is currently providing treatment for (425) patients at Thuwunna Artificial Turf. Center (B) will have (270) beds and it is being built at Thuwunna Youth Training Camp and Center (C) will be set up with 75 beds as Critical Care Unit at Thuwunna Stadium. These additional centers are planning to be opened at the end of September to provide medical treatments to the asymptomatic patients. Accommodation facilities are being provided for (350) workers and volunteers at these three centers. The Ayeyarwady Center Management Office is currently opened at the headquarter of Myanmar Football Federation to provide the needs of treatment centers.
