Ambulances donated for Ayeyarwady Region


Ayeyarwady Foundation, which were continuously providing supports for people’s health care area, donated emergency ambulances for Pathein, Yay Kyi, Hinthada, Zalon and Shwe Thaungyan (Chaung tha) towns, on April 12 at Pathein city hall, Pathein, Ayeyarwady. The donating ceremony was held at Pathein city hall and Ayeyarwady Region chief minister, U Thein Aung and authorities, the officials who were to accept the ambulances for respective towns, elders from the cities and other guests were attended.

Concerning the donation of ambulances, U Zaw Zaw, founder of Ayeyarwady Foundation said “A life could be lost during a split second if necessary help couldn’t reach in time. It’s difficult to become a valuable person, but it’s easy to lose one. The concern of losing such people drive this donation ceremony to happen”

He then emphasized on using these ambulances effectively saying “I want these ambulances to be really effective. So I would like to request officials to use them whenever necessary. Not only for their own cities and towns but also for other near by towns”. Ayeyarwady Foundation also donated 1,000,000 Kyats each along with each ambulances for the maintaining cost.
